Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12–14 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit handling, and tax management. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, experience in managing internal and statutory audits, and sound knowledge of applicable tax and regulatory frameworks including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Oversee timely and accurate preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP/Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts and financial reporting to management.
- Lead GL review and reconciliations, and ensure accounting accuracy and completeness.
2. Consolidation & Group Reporting
- Manage financial consolidation of group entities including domestic and international subsidiaries.
- Coordinate with group companies for timely data submission and alignment with group policies and timelines.
3. Audit Management
- Liaise with internal and statutory auditors for annual and interim audits.
- Ensure timely completion of audits with minimal observations or qualifications.
- Prepare and review audit schedules, responses to queries, and documentation required for audit processes.
4. Internal Controls & IFC Framework
- Implement and monitor Internal Financial Controls (IFC) in line with statutory requirements.
- Evaluate and enhance internal control systems to mitigate risk and ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and control testing.
5. Taxation & Compliance
- Manage direct and indirect taxation, including TDS, GST, and Income Tax compliance and filings.
- Ensure timely payment and filing of tax returns (GSTRs, TDS returns, advance tax, etc.).
- Coordinate with tax consultants for assessments, scrutiny notices, and tax litigation, if any.
6. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, and other applicable laws.
- Maintain records and documentation required for regulatory reporting and inspections.
7. Bookkeeping & Documentation
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Review journal entries, ledger maintenance, and ensure proper documentation and data integrity.
8. Team Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, operations, HR, procurement) to support business initiatives.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and authorities as necessary.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth understanding of IFC, Ind AS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
