Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a finance business partner to drive business growth and sustainable margin

• Partner closely with business leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans;

regularly track actual performance against these plans and collaborate with sales and delivery

teams to drive corrective actions that ensure revenue and performance stay on track with

targets.

• Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle management, ensuring accurate revenue recognition in line

with accepted accounting principles. Drive accurate and timely billing, monitor collections, and

take ownership of optimizing DSO

• Monitor project and service delivery financials, working closely with delivery and project

management teams to track margins, billability, and cost overruns, and recommend corrective

actions where necessary.

• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and solution teams to assist in the preparation of financial

aspects of solutions and proposals for new client contracts, change requests, and renewals.

• Establish and institutionalize a robust mechanism for pricing rollup, governance, and review.

Proactively recommend pricing levers, commercial constructs, and negotiation strategies to help

achieve competitive, yet profitable, winning price points.

• Customer Relationship Management: Lead and manage discussions with clients on commercial

and contractual matters

• Proactively understand business challenges and recommend financially viable solutions,

leveraging scenario modelling and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate options and guide strategic

and operational decisions.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• CA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification with 8+ years of experience.

• Understanding of IT industry financial metrics, including recurring revenue models, SaaS metrics,

and cost structures.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contracting, pricing formulation, and

understanding of revenue recognition principles

• Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate

effectively across sales, operations, and solutions teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and

translate into actionable insights.

• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing

multiple priorities simultaneously.
