ETL Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute ETL test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Validate data transformation, data loading, and end-to-end data flow between various source systems and the data warehouse.
Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity across systems.
Work collaboratively with data engineers, developers, and business analysts in Agile development teams.
Perform defect tracking, root cause analysis, and support data-related issue resolution.
Provide timely and accurate status reports and escalate issues as needed.
Ensure testing best practices and standards are followed throughout the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of ETL testing
and data warehousing concepts.
Proficiency in SQL
for complex data validation and manipulation.
Hands-on experience working with
Azure Synapse Analytics
or other Azure Data Services.
Experience working in
Agile/Scrum environments
with cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
