About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer to lead our engineering team in developing and deploying cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Java development experience and a proven track record of team leadership and process implementation. This role requires a strong technical foundation and excellent management and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop scalable, efficient software solutions using Java, and Spring Boot.

· Build and deploy cloud-based applications leveraging such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

· Work with PostgreSQL and other database management systems to ensure optimized and reliable data storage.

· Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and maintain best practices.

· Collaborate with teams to integrate DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes into workflows.

· Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.

· Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

· Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

· Develop, implement, and maintain engineering processes, tools, and standards to ensure high-quality products.

· Monitor team performance and ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to deliver high-impact solutions.

· Champion agile methodologies and software development life cycles to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

· Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.

· Drive the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications:

·Experience in Java development, with expertise in Spring Boot.

· Experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

· Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

· Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development life cycle.

· Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

· Proven team management and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide engineers.

· Track record of developing and implementing engineering processes and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiarity with other cloud platforms or technologies.
