Engineer Electrical CBM

We’re looking for a proactive and technically sound Electrical Engineer to smooth operation and maintenance of critical electrical systems across our CBM production sites. The role focuses on ensuring zero production downtime through efficient asset management, preventive maintenance, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate electrical systems at well sites, GGS, and compressor stations—including motors, transformers, switchboards (HV/LV), ACBs, VCBs, and VFD drives.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, keeping detailed asset history and equipment performance records.
• Initiate and lead projects to minimize breakdowns and enhance asset reliability.
• Operate and maintain 11KV gas engine generators and associated systems such as UPS, PMCC/MCC, and substations.
• Minimize MTTR by efficiently managing high-priority issues in electrical and automation systems.
• Develop and implement SOPs/SMPs, manage maintenance scheduling as per OEM guidelines.
• Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), toolbox talks, and enforce LOTO and work permit systems. Ensure adherence to CEA, DGMS, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Work closely with electrical leads, drilling, security, and land acquisition teams for aligned operations.
• Assist in DGMS audits and regulatory inspections.

Skills & Expertise:

• Strong hands-on knowledge in maintaining electrical systems including transformers, relays, motors, UPS, batteries, VCB/ACB, package substations, and power generators (gas & diesel up to 1MW).
• Exposure to RCM, spare parts management, and maintenance optimization.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, logic systems, relay settings, and control circuits. PLC interface understanding is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset to engage with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Strong familiarity with industry standards, safety codes, LOTO, and work permit systems.
