Position Description:


The ideal candidate will take charge of making strategic calls and establishing connections to acquire new clients. This role demands substantial prior experience in Staffing and Recruiting Sales, distinctly different from typical India-based sales positions, bench sales, or Tier 1/2/3 Systems Integration sales.


As a Business Development Manager/Sales Manager specializing in Staffing and Recruitment, you should possess robust experience in acquiring new Direct Clients for Recruiting and Staffing.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying potential clients for tailored staffing solutions.
  • Advising on changes to marketing and business development strategies based on careful analysis and feedback.
  • Managing new and existing opportunities by forecasting future activities, expanding service offerings, and exploring new prospects within both existing and new clients.
  • Understanding client requirements and collaborating with the recruitment team to source suitable candidates.
  • Ensuring seamless follow-up at every stage, from submission to placement and post-placement processes.
  • Developing strong relationships with hiring and business managers of clients.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development within Staffing and Recruitment, specifically in acquiring direct clients (not Tier 1 vendors or implementation partners).
  • Extensive experience in cold calling and adept negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving aggressive targets.
  • Strong follow-up skills, coupled with the motivation to break into new accounts through persistent efforts.
  • Exceptional understanding of IT and related areas, with a significant advantage if you are tech-savvy.
  • Drive to succeed, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding goals, coupled with ambition, motivation, and a career-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both on the phone and in person, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Positive mindset, team-oriented, and a belief in continuous learning for personal improvement.
