Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain backend components in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C).
• Implement ISML templates, pipelines, controllers, and scripts as per business requirements.
• Integrate SFCC with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Work on data modeling, custom objects, and job scheduling within the SFCC platform.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in code development and deployment.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) backend development.
• Strong expertise in SFCC B2C architecture, pipelines, scripts, controllers, jobs, and cartridge-based development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/ES6), Node.js, and server-side JS used in SFCC.
• Solid understanding of API integrations (REST, SOAP) and third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, shipping, analytics).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment strategies for SFCC.
• Good understanding of eCommerce workflows, catalog management, and order lifecycle.
• Knowledge of SiteGenesis and/or SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SFCC Developer certification.
• Experience working with international eCommerce implementations.
• Familiarity with frontend tech (HTML, CSS, jQuery) is a plus but not mandatory.
