About the Role:

Dairy Unit Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day dairy unit activities including milk reception, chilling, processing, and packaging.
• Monitor quality parameters of raw and processed milk to ensure compliance with internal and FSSAI standards.
• Ensure timely and hygienic handling of milk and dairy products.
• Manage and train unit staff on best practices and SOP adherence.
• Coordinate maintenance of dairy equipment and ensure machinery uptime.
• Maintain daily production records, inventory logs, and shift reports.
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement and enforce safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures across the unit.
• Assist in internal audits, documentation, and regulatory inspections.

Key Requirements:

• Experience:

  2–4 years in dairy production/processing unit (Mandatory)

• Qualification:

  Diploma/Degree in Dairy Technology / Food Technology or related field preferred.

• Technical Skills:

  Knowledge of pasteurization, homogenization, cold chain, dairy equipment, and packaging machinery.
• Strong understanding of FSSAI guidelines and hygiene protocols.
• Good leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle operational pressure.
