Construction Execution Planner - Mechanical

We are #hiring for a leading Indian multinational Company engaged in EPC Projects for their Dahej, Gujarat location.

Designation: Construction Execution Planner – Mechanical

Job Description:

• Provide oversight and review of the construction planning and scheduling, including staffing plans, manpower histograms, project progress measurement, etc.

• Identify key schedule and progress issues to project and project controls management to allow timely corrective action.

• Knowledge of the Operating Procedures for Project Controls.

• Have knowledge of the scope of work for the project.

• Participate in the Interactive Planning process.

• Develop the schedule for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation activities.

• Perform critical path analysis to identify potential problems early enough for the project team to react and correct the situation.

• Review earned value analysis based on input from the construction team and contractor, and compare to progress reflected in the schedule.

• Assist and or lead efforts in producing various planning and scheduling reports.

• Material receipt and Spool receipt to be monitored closely.

• Preparing crew movement plan.

• Conduct Weekly progress review meetings with Sub Contractors in the presence of Project Managers, Construction Managers & Site Engineers.

• Preparing look-ahead schedules and forecasts and ensuring consistency with the plan.

• Integrate the sub-contractor schedule into the master schedule.

Requirements :

• DME/ BE/ BTech - Mechanical Engineering with 7 to 12 years experience

• Experience in large-scale Oil/Gas and Petrochemical capital projects.

• Knowledge of AWP concept is desirable.

• In-depth experience in construction planning, cost control, estimating, budget preparation.

• Experience working with advanced project management software tools, such as Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Nevis framework, MS Office, and similar tools.
