Job Description

Cloud/Linux Administrator For Gurgaon Location

Job Summary:

Cloud/Linux Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain
AWS cloud infrastructure
, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and related services.
Perform
RedHat Linux OS administration
, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Manage and automate
patching
processes for Linux systems to ensure compliance and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to performance, connectivity, and configuration.
Monitor system health and respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain system security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support deployment and infrastructure needs.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in
Linux system administration
, preferably with
RedHat
.
Strong hands-on experience with
AWS Cloud services
.
Proficiency in
patch management tools
and
automation scripts
(e.g., Ansible, Shell, Python).
Solid understanding of
networking concepts
, firewalls, and security best practices.
Experience with
monitoring tools
(e.g., CloudWatch, Nagios, Zabbix).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect).
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Engineer (RHCE).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
