CIP Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility, ensuring that processes are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety.

Core Responsibilities:

• Implement released Continuous Improvement projects together with Production, Logistics and Quality and other departments
• Identify improvement potential during the entire product lifecycle as well as implement relevant improvement measures
• Introduce standards in the plants and review compliance with them, in cooperation with management
• Plan and conduct workshops for various plant functions (e.g. Production, Logistics, etc.) to identify improvement potential (e.g. with regard to minutes, space and material, parameterization of production equipment, reduction of error rates, etc.)
• Cooperate in optimizing standards/processes/production equipment (e.g. computer-aided monitoring of maintenance cycles via databases, etc.)
• Provide training on Continuous Improvement tools and project management methods.
• Ensure that the EHS policy and objectives are established.
• Ensure and promote continuous improvement related to the EHS management system.
• Apply instructions and procedures related to SST prevention and environmental compliance.
• Report dangerous situations related to the EHS domain

Qualifications:

• Engineer specialized in Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering
• Fluent in English
• One year or more of experience in the automotive field or as a CIP Engineer

• Good skills in analysing industrial processes and tracking down mudas.

• PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, etc.
