CFD Engineer

Chennai, Tamil Nadu Work Type: Full Time We are looking an Aerodynamics Engineer with experience in working with Aircraft Aerodynamics Design, Aircraft Performance, Aircraft stability & Control, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), CAD modeling. The candidate should have experience working in Aircraft and its components aerodynamics design and development, CFD, Wind tunnel testing and low fidelity Aerodynamics tool. Responsible for designing ePlane’s Aircrafts and Components aerodynamically Responsible for doing CFD analysis of ePlane’s Aircrafts and components Ability to do estimate the Aircraft performance’s data from the numerical simulation Carry out the wind tunnel test for Airframe & components and post- process the test data Understand other team’s requirements and prepare Aero data Ability to do the hand calculation to estimate the Aircraft performance parameters Ability to carry out the complex CFD analysis Guide the CAD team to prepare the Aerodynamics Geometries Tech Skills required Strong in Aircraft Aerodynamics Design knowledge Excellent in Aircraft performance Excellent theoretical knowledge in Fluid mechanics & CFD Good working experience in CFD Tool handling Good knowledge in wind tunnel testing and data post-processing Knowledge in Aircraft stability & Control Good experience in low fidelity Aerodynamics design optimization Tool Good Knowledge in CFD Geometry preparation in CAD Tool Tool Knowledge Ansys Discovery, SpaceClaim, Fluent Mesher, Fluent, CFD-Post Ansys Workbench ICEM-CFD unstructured mesh, Block mesh added advantage Paraview Xflr, Flow5, Datcom, Advanced Aircraft Analysis (AAA) Matlab, Python, MS Excel Windows, Linux Platform Preferred Qualification B.Tech or B.E M.Tech or M.E Experience : 2 to 5 years Location : Chennai
