Job Title: Business Finance Partner – Fresher CA

Location: Bangalore (Work From Office, 5 days a week)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Chartered Accountant (CA) to join Vegrow’s Business Finance (BizFin) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Business Unit (BU) Heads and the core finance team to help drive financial planning, cost optimisation, and strategic decision-making across key business units. You will get hands-on experience in P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a high-growth startup environment.

This role is ideal for a fresher CA who is eager to build a strong foundation in Business Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis & Reporting

● Assist in tracking and monitoring Business Unit (BU) financial performance, including revenue, margins, and costs.

● Support preparation of financial reports and MIS dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership.

● Conduct variance analysis to highlight areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

● Collaborate with BU heads and central finance teams to assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

● Help monitor adherence to budgets and identify any deviations along with their root causes.

3. Business Partnering & Strategic Support

● Work closely with BU teams to understand business drivers, challenges, and growth levers.

● Provide financial insights to support decision-making related to pricing, cost optimisation, and investments.

4. Cost Management & Process Optimisation

● Track and review operational costs to identify areas of cost-saving opportunities.

● Assist in developing processes to ensure cost discipline and improve overall financial efficiency.

5. Data Analysis & Dashboarding

● Support in building dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio to provide real-time visibility into financial and operational performance.

● Help extract and analyse data using SQL/MySQL to support deep-dive analyses and business reviews.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

● Liaise with operations, procurement, and product teams to align financial plans with business realities.

● Be part of special projects and initiatives aimed at improving Vegrow’s overall financial health and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

● Chartered Accountant (CA) – Freshly qualified (Nov 2024 or 2025 pass-outs preferred).

● Strong analytical mindset with a passion for financial analysis, business partnering, and problem-solving.

● Proficiency in MS Excel and strong understanding of financial modelling.

● Basic exposure to SQL/MySQL and a willingness to learn dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

● Proactive attitude, with a willingness to take ownership and learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
