Position: Business Development Manager - Machine Vision Systems Function: Sales & Marketing Location: South India Reports To: CEO Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key Indian industries like automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Strategic Planning : Develop and execute a business development plan tailored to the Indian market to achieve sales targets and expand market presence. Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty. Sales Leadership : Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including preparing proposals and negotiating contracts. Technical Expertise : Maintain a deep understanding of machine vision products, customizing solutions to meet the specific needs of Indian clients. Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (marketing, engineering, customer support) to align efforts and achieve business goals. Market Knowledge : Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in India. Reporting : Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business development activities for senior management. Travel : Willingness to travel extensively across India to meet clients and attend industry events. Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the machine vision or related technology sectors in India; strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
