About the Role : We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Candidate with a proven track record of securing large key accounts in the event, activation & retail industry . The ideal candidate will be a hustler , passionate about identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, contributing to the success and growth of the business. Key Responsibilities : Client Acquisition & Relationship Management : Identify, approach, and convert prospective clients to secure new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in existing and potential clients. Strategic Business Development : Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s presence within the experiential sector. Proactively seek out opportunities with large key accounts and ensure long-term partnerships. Sales & Revenue Generation : Focus on driving revenue through the acquisition of high-value clients and large-scale projects. Meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring the growth of the business. Market Research & Trend Analysis : Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and the latest in experiential marketing and event activation, using insights to target new business opportunities. Proposal & Pitch Development : Lead the creation of compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients, tailored to their needs and objectives. Successfully pitch ideas and services to close deals. Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with the creative, operations, and delivery teams to ensure that client expectations are met, and projects are executed successfully. Negotiation & Contract Management : Manage contract negotiations, terms, and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements for the company and clients. Client Retention & Growth : Beyond client acquisition, work to ensure that clients remain satisfied with our services, with the goal of securing repeat business and expanding the scope of services offered. Skills and Qualifications : Experience : At least 7-8 years of experience in business development or sales in the event, activation and retail industry, with a demonstrated track record of bringing in large, key accounts. Strong Network : Established relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the experiential and event sector. Proven Sales Ability : A history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly with large-scale clients and projects. Strategic Thinker : Ability to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand presence in the market. Excellent Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and negotiate effectively. Goal-Oriented : Highly motivated with a strong focus on results, able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of the event management and experiential marketing landscape, with insights into emerging trends and best practices. Tech-Savvy : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools for tracking leads and managing pipelines.
