Job Title: Business Development Executive (Punjab & Haryana) Department: Business Development / Sales Location: Punjab & Haryana (Field-based role) Reports To: Business Development Head / Regional Manager Experience Required: 1–3 years in business development, sales, or client acquisition Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Hindi (Punjabi preferred for regional interaction) Position Overview: The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with B2B clients, particularly agents, consultants, or institutions, across Punjab and Haryana. This role requires strong communication skills, proactive field engagement, and the ability to drive growth by converting prospects into partners. The candidate must be goal-oriented, persuasive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively. Main Responsibilities: Identify and source key decision-makers (prospects) within target businesses or institutions. Contact prospects via calls, emails, or written communication to introduce and promote services/products. Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings or virtual presentations with potential clients and partners. Conduct follow-ups with past or inactive prospects to reintroduce services and reignite interest. Actively conduct field visits across Punjab and Haryana to meet new agents, provide information, and build strong partnerships. Liaise with internal teams like Marketing, Admissions, and Product to gather support materials for effective pitches. Maintain and update lead and opportunity records through CRM and ensure all client interaction is logged accurately. Consistently work to meet and exceed sales targets and business development KPIs as set by management. Key Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written) Customer service orientation and approachability Active listening and empathy in understanding client needs Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and targets Strong research skills to understand client backgrounds and tailor pitches Field-readiness – should be comfortable with daily travel and face-to-face meetings Team collaboration and internal coordination ability Open to constructive feedback and self-improvement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Number of new client meetings scheduled and attended Conversion rate of leads into active business relationships Number of agents onboarded per month Timely follow-up and response rate to prospects Accuracy and regularity of CRM and report updates Expectations & Company Representation: Act as a representative of the organization during seminars, expos, marketing events, and village-level campaigns as needed. Share and promote company events and official updates on personal professional social media. Ensure all activities align with company policies, ethical guidelines, and data confidentiality norms.
