Billing Engineer( Construction)

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to manage and oversee billing-related activities for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing client and subcontractor bills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, and coordinating with site and accounts teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process client and subcontractor bills as per project progress and contract terms. Verify measurements, quantities, and work completion at the site in coordination with the execution team. Prepare RA (Running Account) bills, final bills, reconciliation statements, and progress reports. Ensure timely submission of bills and follow up for certification and payments. Review BOQ (Bill of Quantities), drawings, and contract agreements to ensure accurate billing. Coordinate with the site, planning, and accounts teams for billing-related inputs. Maintain and update billing records, invoices, and documentation for audit and client purposes. Support tendering and estimation teams with rate analysis and quantity take-offs when required. Monitor project cost and assist in cost control by comparing actual quantities with BOQ. Handle client queries related to billing and coordinate for resolution. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in billing in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of billing software (e.g., MS Excel, ERP, AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.). Good understanding of civil engineering drawings, BOQ, and measurement sheets. Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
