Billing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Billing Engineer for handling construction billing activities. The candidate will primarily focus on RA billing and subcontractor/vendor billing, but must also have a working knowledge of BOQ preparation, drawing understanding, and basic drafting (AutoCAD), as they may be required to support these tasks based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit project sites weekly (locations may vary) for joint measurements with Site Engineers.
• Ensure all quantities are verified on-site with the client’s representative.
• Prepare and submit RA bills and subcontractor/vendor bills after verification.
• Coordinate with the technical/design team for quantity checking and billing inputs.
• Revise or assist in preparing BOQs as per actual execution and scope changes, when required.
• Understand construction drawings and perform quantity take-offs as needed.
• Provide support in drawing updates or AutoCAD drafting as per requirement.
• Work in accordance with applicable SOR/DSR and project-specific rate schedules.
• Maintain billing records including MBs, DPRs, cube reports, material reconciliation, etc., in coordination with the store/accounts team.
• Ensure timely approvals and documentation for smooth billing flow.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in construction billing.
• Proficiency in RA billing, BOQ handling, and quantity verification.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with SOR/DSR and standard government billing procedures.
• Good command of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/Tally software.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Willingness to visit sites weekly and support other engineering tasks when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 per year
