Job Description

Job Overview:

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement

    automated test scripts

    using tools like

    Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

    .
  • Develop and maintain

    test automation frameworks

    for UI, API, and backend testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Perform

    functional, regression, integration, smoke

    , and

    performance testing

    .
  • Integrate automated tests with

    CI/CD pipelines

    (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Analyze test results, debug failures, and log defects in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation strategies.
  • Stay current with test automation best practices, tools, and techniques.

Required Skills:

  • 5–8 years of experience in

    automation testing

    .
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools like

    Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit, PyTest

    , or

    Robot Framework

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Java, Python, or JavaScript

    for test script development.
  • Experience in

    API testing

    using

    Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI

    .
  • Working knowledge of

    CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with

    cross-browser and mobile automation

    (Appium is a plus).
  • Good understanding of
