Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automated mobile test scripts using

  TESTIM.io

• Build scalable and reusable test automation frameworks
• Perform

  cross-platform testing

  on real devices and emulators for iOS and Android
• Collaborate with

  QA analysts, developers, product managers, and DevOps

  to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test failures, identify defects, and support root cause analysis
• Participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  and contribute to sprint deliverables and test strategy discussions
• Ensure automation assets remain up to date with evolving app features and platform changes

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–5 years

  of experience in test automation;

  1+ years hands-on with TESTIM.io

• Strong understanding of

  mobile testing strategies and best practices

• Experience with

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  or other scripting languages
• Practical exposure to

  CI/CD tools

  like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Hands-on with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g.,

  JIRA, TestRail

  )
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective cross-functional communication

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud/mobile device platforms like

  BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Kobiton

• Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks like

  Appium, XCUITest, Espresso

• Understanding of

  API testing

  and backend validation in mobile test flows
• Exposure to

  AI-powered test automation features

  within TESTIM.io
