Assistant Purchase Manager

As we grow, we’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Purchase Manager to join our procurement team and ensure timely sourcing of quality products that delight our clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing procurement strategies for gifting products, packaging materials, and accessories.
• Source and negotiate with vendors for the best pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain a database of vendors and evaluate their performance regularly.
• Coordinate with design, production, and sales teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely material availability.
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team for stock planning
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and brand standards.
• Handle quality checks and returns/replacements where required.
• Support new vendor onboarding and build strong supplier relationships.
• Stay updated on market trends and new product innovations in the gifting industry

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in FMCG, Gifting, Packaging, or Retail sectors.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of sourcing locally and from other states (PAN India sourcing).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and purchase documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle pressure, manage multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Yelachenahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
