Role Overview:

Assistant Professor in Digital & Social Media Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in

  Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy, Content Marketing, Influencer Marketing

  , and related subjects
• Develop and deliver hands-on projects and live campaign simulations using platforms like

  Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram

• Integrate real-time industry tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Canva, Meta Business Suite) into course delivery
• Mentor students on digital campaigns, social media internships, and personal branding
• Engage in curriculum development and updates aligned with current digital marketing trends
• Contribute to research and publications in the field of digital or social media marketing
• Collaborate with the university’s marketing team to support brand and outreach initiatives through digital strategies

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• MBA / Master’s degree in

  Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication, or a related field

• UGC-NET qualified

  is preferred

• Ph.D.

  (completed or in progress) in Marketing/Digital Media will be an added advantage
• Minimum

  2–4 years of teaching or corporate experience

  in social media or digital marketing
• Strong portfolio of executed campaigns or agency/brand-side experience is desirable

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in tools like

  Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer, SEMrush, Google Analytics

• Experience in

  content strategy, influencer marketing, SEO/SEM, and video marketing

• Strong communication and classroom engagement abilities
• Knowledge of current digital platforms and trends (e.g., AI in marketing, Web3, personal branding)
• Ability to guide students on building social media portfolios and career readiness
