Assistant Professor / Associate Professor - Business & Data Anaytics

Role Overview:

Calcutta Business School invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Finance. We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals who hold a Ph.D. degree or are currently pursuing a Ph.D. from reputed institutions, with a strong foundation in core finance. The role includes teaching, research, curriculum development aligned with industry needs, and contribution to academic and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Deliver high-quality teaching in core and advanced finance subjects to postgraduate students.

·        Design and develop course curriculum in alignment with contemporary industry trends and academic standards.

·        Conduct impactful research in the area of finance and publish in reputed journals.

·        Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and career planning.

·        Participate in faculty development initiatives, training programs, and institutional activities.

·        Engage in academic administration and support various committees as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

·        Ph.D. in Finance or pursuing Ph.D. in Finance from a recognized and reputed university/institution.

·      Strong domain knowledge in core finance areas such as Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Financial Modelling, Investment Analysis, Derivatives, etc.

·        Proven research capabilities with published or accepted papers in peer-reviewed journals (desirable).

·        Experience in teaching or corporate roles in finance-related fields will be an advantage.

·        Proficiency in tools/software in Finance

·        Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
