Assistant Manager

We are looking for three finance professionals to be deployed in an insurance client to support the preparation of Ind AS financial statements. Contract duration is expected to be 6-months. The selected resources will work closely with the internal finance team, external consultants, and auditors to prepare proforma Ind AS financials, with a focus on first-time implementation.

Key Role Highlights

• Work on the preparation of proforma Ind AS financials for the company
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for timely delivery
• Support first-time adoption efforts and ensure compliance with all applicable Ind AS standards
• Work on Ind AS 117 (Insurance Contracts) and coordinate with WTW and the actuarial team and management to lead proforma Ind AS 117-related disclosures and modeling

Expectations from the candidate

• Strong working knowledge of Ind AS
• In-depth understanding or working experience of Ind AS 117
• Capable of handling financial statement preparation, audit support, and cross-functional coordination

Key Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA
• 2–6 years of experience in financial reporting or statutory audit under Ind AS
• Prior experience in the insurance or financial services sector preferred
• Ability to manage tight timelines and coordinate across functions
• For the Ind AS 117 role: exposure to actuarial processes and insurance contracts is a strong plus
