Assistant Area Manager

Location:

Jodhpur, Rajasthan (On-site role with bachelor accommodation provided)

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline)

MBA preferred (not mandatory)

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of work experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong focus on production-related activities

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Area Manager to oversee and coordinate operations across multiple oil & gas sites in Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production environments, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders from PSUs and government bodies. This position will be based in Jodhpur with bachelor accommodation provided.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1.    Act as the key point of contact for business development and liaison with PSUs and local government authorities.

2.    Provide hands-on support and problem-solving for issues arising at production sites within the state.

3.    Lead and guide site teams with strong man-management skills to ensure smooth daily operations.

4.    Prepare and submit weekly reports and operational updates to the Head Office in Mumbai.

5.    Maintain and manage site inventory, ensuring accurate stock tracking and availability.

6.    Coordinate with Head Office for procurement, vendor communication, and tendering processes.

7.    Prepare budgets, estimations, and cost reports for approval and planning by HO.

8.    Utilize technical knowledge in oil recovery processes (preferred, not mandatory).

9.    Communicate fluently in English and Hindi (written and verbal) for internal and external coordination.

10. Proficiently operate a laptop and use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Key Skills Required:

·       Strong knowledge of oil & gas production operations

·       Leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional site teams

·       Stakeholder management and public sector engagement

·       Excellent written and verbal communication

·       Analytical and problem-solving mindset

·       Skilled in reporting, budgeting, and estimation

·       Familiarity with procurement and tender processes

·       Proficient in MS Office Suite

·       Bilingual proficiency in English & Hindi

Additional Information:

·       This is a full-time, site-based role located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

·       Bachelor accommodation will be provided by the company.

·       Candidate must be willing to relocate to Jodhpur and travel within Rajasthan as needed.
