Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations within an assigned geographic zone. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding dealer/distributor networks, managing a field sales team, and achieving revenue targets. This is a field-intensive role with frequent travel across the assigned region. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company goals. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Market Expansion Identify and develop new dealers, distributors, and B2B clients (e.g., architects, builders, institutional buyers). Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities. Team Leadership Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Executives or Territory Managers. Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and support. Client Relationship Management Build strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, and influencers. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior management. Track KPIs such as revenue growth, market share, and conversion rates. Cross-functional Coordination Collaborate with marketing, logistics, production, and after-sales teams for smooth operations. Ensure timely delivery and resolution of client issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). 5–10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the furniture, interiors, building materials, or consumer durables industry. Proven experience in managing regional teams and dealer/distributor networks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned zone. Skills Required: Strong understanding of channel sales and distribution models. Knowledge of CRM and sales analytics tools. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Strategic thinking with execution capability. Fluent in English and Hindi. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
