Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines and implement data models for analytics/reporting.
• Build and maintain data APIs, ensuring data availability, security, and compliance.
• Develop and optimize data infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Monitor pipelines for performance and data quality; implement alerts and issue resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and enforce engineering best practices.
  

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in Data Engineering or similar role.
• Strong knowledge in Python/Java/Scala, SQL, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Cloud experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., S3, Glue, Data Factory, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of data modeling (Kimball/Inmon).
• Version control using Git.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  

Preferred (Nice To Have)

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka/Kinesis, NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra).
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, Airflow, and DevOps for data pipelines.
• Experience in Telecom domain is a plus.
