Job Title: AIX Admin Location: Noida Roles and Responsibilities: 1) Responsible of OS Clustering(TSA and PowerHA), Partitioning and virtualization. 2) Hands on experience for managing day-to-day AIX Operating System installation and break-fix support. 3) Handle tickets and requests, troubleshooting technical issues 4) Ensuring that the processes are adhered to. 5) Understanding of multi-geo support environment. 6) Responsible for successful completion of AIX/VIOS Installation, configuration, and migration. 7) Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA. 8) Responsible for building and maintaining a AIX UNIX environment. 9) Improve and maintain customer and employee satisfaction 10) Implement new technologies and design changes, implementing Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support. 11) Apply patches/upgrades to maintain security level. 12) Assist in implementation of data center consolidation; Perform H/W & performance monitoring and implement recommendations. 13) Day-to-Day reporting analysis tasks and vendor co-ordination & follow-up on technical requirements. 14) Drive resource planning and keep track of team s performance for high customer satisfaction. 15) Ensure quality compliance and facilitate Value creation and Knowledge Management activities.
