Job Summary

DGM/AGM – Retail Leasing

Key Responsibilities

• Leasing Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute comprehensive leasing plans for malls and retail spaces.
• Identify, approach, and secure anchor tenants and key retail brands in alignment with the property’s positioning.
• Structure and negotiate lease agreements with national and regional tenants.
• Drive lease closures within defined timelines to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

• Market Research & Analytics

• Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to understand current trends, rental benchmarks, and emerging brands.
• Evaluate tenant mix and customer profile to suggest and implement improvements.

• Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants, IPCs (International Property Consultants), and key industry stakeholders.
• Ensure tenant satisfaction through smooth onboarding, fit-out coordination, and ongoing support.

• Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all lease agreements and transactions comply with internal policies, statutory guidelines, and legal frameworks.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams for accurate documentation and timely closures.

• Reporting & Coordination

• Provide regular updates on leasing status, market trends, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Coordinate with design, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment on leasing deliverables and timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience

  : 12–18 years of experience in retail leasing, preferably with exposure to large-format retail, shopping malls, or high-street developments.

• Educational Qualification

  : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA preferred.

• Proven track record in successful lease negotiations and deal closures.
• In-depth knowledge of retail leasing practices, market dynamics, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
