JOB DESCRIPTION: ACADEMIC COUNSELLOR Organization: PIIOTA – Premier Institute for IIT-JEE & NEET Coaching Location: BS 134, Sector 70, Noida Job Type: Full-time Reporting To: Managing Director 🎯 Job Objective: To provide academic guidance and counseling to prospective students and parents, drive admissions through effective communication and lead conversion, and support marketing efforts at the institutional level. 🧠 Key Responsibilities1. Student Counseling & Admissions Counsel walk-in and telephonic inquiries about PIIOTA programs (NEET-UG, JEE Main & Advanced, Foundation 9-12). Guide students in selecting suitable courses based on their academic background and career goals. Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions through effective follow-up and relationship building. 2. Lead Generation & Calling Generate leads through cold calling, follow-ups on inquiries, and re-engaging old leads. Maintain and update lead databases regularly using CRM or designated tools. Conduct outbound calls to schools, students, and parents for counseling sessions, test promotions, and admissions. 3. Marketing Events & Outreach Support Assist in planning and executing marketing activities and admission drives in nearby schools, coaching hubs, societies, and public spaces. Represent PIIOTA in local promotional events, scholarship test campaigns, and seminars. Support marketing and outreach teams during campaigns for brand awareness and lead collection. 4. Sales & Target Achievement Meet or exceed weekly/monthly enrollment and conversion targets. Promote multiple courses as per student requirements and performance analysis. 5. Coordination & Reporting Collaborate with the academic team to ensure smooth batch handovers and class schedules. Maintain daily reports of inquiries, leads, walk-ins, and conversions. Handle incoming queries via calls, emails, or in-person efficiently. ✅ Skills & QualificationsGraduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or Management preferred). 1–3 years of relevant experience in academic counseling/admissions/sales (preferred in the education sector). Strong command of English and Hindi, with excellent communication and persuasive skills. Familiarity with MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM platforms.
