Job Summary: The Parent Counselor will be responsible for managing parent interactions, guiding prospective parents through the admission process, and achieving admission targets set by the school. The role demands excellent communication, persuasive skills, and a proactive approach to counseling and conversion. Key Responsibilities:1. Parent Handling & Counseling Act as the first point of contact for walk-in, telephonic, and online admission inquiries. Understand the needs and concerns of parents and provide detailed information about the school’s curriculum, facilities, policies, and admission procedures. Build rapport and trust with prospective parents, ensuring a positive first impression of the school. Handle queries and concerns of existing parents and guide them appropriately or redirect to relevant departments. 2. Admission Conversion Follow up rigorously with inquiries through calls, emails, and messages to ensure conversion. Arrange and conduct campus tours, orientation sessions, and one-on-one counseling meetings. Maintain updated records of prospective leads, inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions in the admission CRM or Excel sheets. Coordinate with internal departments for smooth processing of admissions. 3. Target Achievement Work towards achieving monthly and annual admission targets as assigned by management. Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance and submit reports to the Principal/Admissions Head. Identify bottlenecks or challenges in the conversion process and suggest improvements. 4. Collaboration & Support Collaborate with the marketing team during school promotional events, open houses, and school fairs. Provide feedback and insight on parent expectations and market trends. Participate in strategic discussions to enhance the admissions process and school visibility. Key Skills Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English and regional language) Strong persuasion and negotiation skills Empathy and patience in dealing with diverse parent profiles Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of target achievement Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Marketing, or Communication preferred) Experience Required: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a CBSE school or educational institution Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: In person
