Accounting and Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, receivables, and cash flow management. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure timely submission of tax returns, VAT filings, and other statutory reports. Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank statements. Develop and implement internal financial controls and processes. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and monitor financial performance against targets. Conduct financial analysis, cost control, and risk assessment. Provide insights on financial trends, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with South African financial laws, tax regulations, and international accounting standards (IFRS). Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions. Implement financial policies and procedures to mitigate risks. Stakeholder & Team Management: Collaborate with management, operations, and sales teams for financial decision-making. Lead and mentor finance team members, ensuring high performance. Work with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies for financial matters. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA degree is mandatory 5 to 10 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing. Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and South African financial regulations.
