Job Description

Key Responsibilities of an Accountant: Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations. Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Reconciliation: Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and studying account information. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Audit Support: Supporting audits and assisting with audit procedures. Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns. Financial Planning: Providing financial advice and recommendations to management. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is generally required. Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software, such as ZohoBooks & Tally Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy.
