Accountant

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing complex accounting functions, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

* Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

* Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements

* Analyze financial data and present insights to management

* Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation

* Supervise junior accountants and review their work for accuracy

* Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities

* Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Skills :

* Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities

* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Excel

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

* Strong communication and leadership skills

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)

* CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred

* Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience

* Prior experience in a supervisory or senior-level accounting role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

• Alamcode, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
