Job Description

Summary

We are hiring a detail-oriented Account Assistant to manage daily accounting tasks and support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Tally, MS Excel, and basic bookkeeping to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping. 


Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Daily entry of sales, purchase, and expense vouchers in Tally

2. Maintain and update ledger accounts and cash books

3. Prepare basic financial reports as required

4. Assist with invoice preparation and bill checking

5. Handle petty cash and daily cash reports

6. Perform bank reconciliation and maintain transaction records

7. Maintain records of GST input/output and assist with returns

8. Support the senior accountant during audits and monthly closings

9. File and organize financial documents and reports

10. Coordinate with internal departments for documentation and billing


Required Skills

Proficiency in Tally ERP

MS Excel (basic formulas, formatting, data entry

Understanding of accounting principles

Data accuracy and attention to detail

Time management and prioritization skills

Basic knowledge of GST and invoice handling
