Wordpress Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage WordPress & PHP development projects from inception to completion.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom themes, plugins, and web applications.
• Ensure websites are secure, responsive, SEO-friendly, and performance-optimized.
• Supervise a team of developers—assign tasks, monitor progress, and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with design, content, and SEO teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Communicate with international clients, understand requirements, and provide regular updates.
• Maintain version control, documentation, and project workflows using Git and task tracking tools.
• Drive innovation by staying up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and PHP development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
• Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, website security, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar project management tools.
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring development teams.
• Comfortable working in UK shift timings and handling client communications.
