Wordpress Developer

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, design, and maintain websites using WordPress with a focus on speed, performance, and UX/UI.

· Customize themes and plugins based on brand and marketing needs.

· Integrate APIs, payment gateways, booking systems, and third-party tools relevant to gaming platforms.

· Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, mobile responsive, and secure.

· Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align web strategies with campaign goals.

· Manage hosting, domain, and backups while ensuring minimal downtime.

· Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.

· Track analytics and support performance optimization and tracking pixels (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.).

· Maintain website content, blog posts, event updates, and other CMS-related tasks.

· Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in gaming and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (minimum 2 years preferred).

· Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL.

· Experience with WordPress themes, page builders (Elementor, WP Bakery), and plugin customization.

· Basic knowledge of SEO principles and Google Search Console.

· Familiarity with gaming industry trends or working in entertainment/fan-focused platforms is a plus.

· Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.

· Understanding of user behaviour in gaming or entertainment platforms.

· Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations.

· Basic graphic editing using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or Figma.
