Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce Developer to join our team and help build, customize, and optimize e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, and front-end technologies, and be capable of delivering highly functional and user-friendly e-commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom WooCommerce websites and plugins.

Customize WooCommerce themes and templates to align with brand and business goals.

Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and loading speed.

Troubleshoot and resolve WooCommerce-related issues (e.g., payment gateways, checkout issues

Implement and integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping plugins.

Work with UX/UI teams to ensure a smooth, user-friendly shopping experience.

Maintain website security and ensure updates are applied regularly

Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers for successful project execution.

Perform website audits and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of hands-on experience with WooCommerce and WordPress.

Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development.

Proficient in working with WooCommerce hooks, filters, and REST APIs.

Experience integrating payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Razorpa

Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.

Experience with popular WooCommerce extensions (e.g., Subscriptions, Bookings, Memberships).

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum workflows.

Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Cloudways, or SiteGround.
