Wanted an Accountant

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, proficiency in Tally ERP software, and experience handling TDS, GST, and ITR filings. Experience in the educational sector is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets, using Tally ERP software. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file TDS, GST, and Income Tax Returns in compliance with statutory requirements. Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial statements. Audit Preparation: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor variances. Reporting: Generate periodic financial reports and statements for management review. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with the latest financial regulations and ensure the organization's compliance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the educational sector. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP software; strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and ITR processes. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the educational sector. Familiarity with accounting standards applicable to educational institutions.
