Job description Job Title: VP – Rest of India (North, South & East India) Location: Mumbai Department: Wealth Management Reporting to: Chief Business Officer Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned VP to spearhead client acquisition and business development in Rest of India (North, South and East India), covering Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities like NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Punjab, UP, West Bengal, Guwahati, etc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wealth management, with a strong network among HNI/UHNI clients and distributors/ IFAs and the ability to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Client Acquisition and Relationship Management Identify, engage, and acquire HNI and UHNI clients across Rest of India. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive loyalty and retention. Business Development Develop and implement strategies to target potential investors and achieve sales targets. Develop and strengthen relationships with National distributors and IFAs Represent 9Point Capital’s offerings, focusing on Bitcoin ETFs, Ethereum ETFs, and other regulated digital asset management products. Regional Market Expertise Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Rest of India market to identify opportunities and trends. Build and maintain relationships with regional influencers, family offices, and corporate treasuries. Client Advisory Provide personalized investment recommendations tailored to clients’ financial goals and risk profiles. Educate clients on the advantages of regulated digital assets compared to traditional asset classes. Compliance and Reporting Ensure all client on boarding and transactions adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies. Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market conditions. Key Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. Advanced certifications like CFP, CFA, or NISM are highly preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory. Proven track record of acquiring and managing HNI/UHNI clients in Rest of India. Strong relationships with National Distributors, Banks and IFAs Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and build trust with clients. Exceptional networking abilities and an established network within the HNI/UHNI/IFA community. Deep understanding of financial markets and products, including alternative investments. Knowledge of digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum is an added advantage but not mandatory. Attributes: Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to business development. High ethical standards and integrity in all client interactions. Adaptability to learn and sell innovative financial products like Bitcoin ETFs.
