User Interface and User Experience Designer

Cheenta Academy for Olympiad & Research located in Kolkata has been offering advance mathematical science programs, Olympiad training, and research projects since 2010. The academy's faculty team includes ex-Olympians and advanced researchers from leading universities worldwide. They offer various programs, including Thousand Flowers (Pre-Olympiad) for kids, Math Olympiad Program (for Junior school), I.S.I. & C.M.I. Entrance Program (for Senior school), College and Advanced Mathematics Program, Physics Olympiad Program, and Informatics Olympiad Program. All classes at Cheenta Academy are delivered online.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kolkata for a User Experience and User Interface Designer. The User Experience and User Interface Designer will be responsible for designing and improving the user experience of Cheenta Academy's online platforms. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse user requirements, create wireframes and prototypes, conduct user research, and iterate on designs based on user feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in user experience and user interface design
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile app design
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Experience in the education or e-learning industry is a plus

Salary

The Salary for this position is ranging between Rs.20000 - Rs.35000 per month based on the skill set.

Working Hours:

You will be required to work in 10:30 AM IST - 7:30 PM IST slot with one week-off every week (with one extra week-off at company's discretion)
