Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify stores : Work on building custom Shopify themes, app integrations, and optimizing the e-commerce experience for users.
• Integrate Subscription Apps : Implement and manage subscription-based services and apps (e.g., Recharge, Loop, Bold, etc.), ensuring smooth user experiences and accurate functionality.
• Shopify API Integrations : Develop custom APIs to integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and other business-critical solutions.
• Collaborate with Design and Marketing Teams : Work closely with UX/UI designers and marketing teams to ensure a seamless, attractive, and functional storefront.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization : Identify and resolve performance issues, errors, or bugs related to Shopify stores and apps.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates.
• Provide Technical Support : Support internal and external stakeholders with technical guidance and troubleshooting when necessary.
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify APIs, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with subscription apps such as Recharge, Loop, Bold, etc.
• Experience with Shopify Plus and custom app development is a plus.
• Ability to implement and integrate third-party apps and services seamlessly.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of version control using Git.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Shopify Plus or Shopify storefront API.
• Knowledge of headless eCommerce solutions and integrating Shopify with other platforms.
• Familiarity with payment gateway integrations, especially with recurring billing.
• Ability to work with agile teams in an iterative development process or related field.
