Job Description

The Technical Trainer for Publisher Operations will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive onboarding and upskilling programs tailored to fresh graduates entering the digital advertising industry. This role focuses on foundational training in ad operations and campaign management workflows using CM360 and GAM, with the goal of building job readiness for global advertising accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:

● Design structured onboarding programs and learning paths focused on CM360 and GAM for freshers.

● Create engaging training materials, including step-by-step guides, video tutorials, job aids, and case studies.

● Work with L&D and operational leads to tailor content to business needs and client expectations.

Training Delivery:

● Deliver live and virtual instructor-led sessions focused on campaign execution, ad trafficking, QA, and reporting.

● Conduct hands-on practice labs and simulations using CM360 and GAM interfaces.

● Customize content delivery to accommodate different learning styles and paces among freshers.

Performance Monitoring & Feedback:

● Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, quizzes, and shadowing exercises.

● Collect feedback from learners and team leads to measure training effectiveness.

● Identify knowledge gaps and iterate on training modules for continuous improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

● Liaise with Ad Ops, Client Services, QA, and Tech teams to stay aligned on tools, workflows, and

process changes.

● Provide SME input to build scalable learning solutions across business units.

● Support the onboarding of new trainers and mentor junior training staff.

Compliance & Standards:

● Ensure all training content and delivery aligns with client SLAs, privacy regulations, and industry

standards.

● Maintain documentation and version control for all training assets.


Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

● 5+ years of hands-on experience in ad operations and campaign management using CM360 and

GAM.

● Proven track record of designing and delivering training programs, especially for early-career

professionals.

● Deep understanding of ad trafficking, campaign setup, QA, pacing, and reporting within CM360 and GAM environments.

● Familiarity with related advertising platforms such as DV360, Xandr, and The Trade Desk.

● Strong facilitation and instructional design skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for

freshers.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an engaging presentation style.

● Experience working with US-based clients and understanding of global campaign standards.


Preferred Qualifications:

● Certification in training delivery or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTM).

● Experience creating structured learning paths for freshers, including assessments and certification frameworks.

● Exposure to learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training tools.

● Experience working in media or entertainment platforms is a plus.

● Familiarity with client-specific internal tools (if applicable).
