Department: Human Resources / Talent Acquisition Reports To: Talent Acquisition Manager / Head of Recruitment Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead IT Recruiter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for IT roles, mentoring junior recruiters, partnering with hiring managers, and helping shape our tech talent strategy. You will play a critical role in building high-performing tech teams by sourcing and hiring top talent across software engineering, DevOps, data science, cybersecurity, and more. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment for a variety of IT roles (software engineers, data scientists, DevOps, cybersecurity, etc.). Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, role expectations, and team dynamics. Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other innovative channels. Screen, interview, and assess candidates for both technical and cultural fit. Mentor and guide junior recruiters, sharing best practices and driving team performance. Maintain accurate and timely data in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Build and maintain a strong pipeline of tech talent through proactive sourcing and talent mapping. Provide data-driven insights and reporting to hiring teams and leadership. Support employer branding initiatives focused on the tech talent market. Stay up-to-date on tech hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and market dynamics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, including at least 12 years in a lead or senior role. Proven track record of recruiting for IT and tech roles across various seniority levels. Experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering quality hires quickly. Nice to Have: Experience hiring for niche or emerging tech stacks (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, cloud-native). Exposure to international or remote hiring practices.
