Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Description Shall be responsible to provide the following administrative support to the faculty and students:

1. This person is a bridge between faculty & students for the course, responsible for entire course related communication.

2. Course material discussion & development with faculty

3. Development of quizzes, assignments etc. with faculty

4. Development of grading rubric with faculty

5. Evaluation of submissions (quizzes, assignments, projects, exams, etc.)

6. Helping students with course concepts and any doubt clarifications & managing faculty hours

7. Conducting lab sessions or tutorial sessions as required

8. Guiding students in course specific projects & capstone

9. Sit in every class and mark attendance & class participation (CP). Discuss class participation with faculty to give grades for same every day.

10. Invigilating exams, quizzes.

11. Managing the LMS, upload attendance, pre-reads, post-reads, quizzes, etc.

12. Gathering, compressing & uploading the class recording everyday on LMS.

13. Maintain academic discipline in the classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

An ideal candidate is someone who has a strong academic background and aspires to eventually pursue teaching or a doctoral programme.


Qualifications

Master’s / Post-Graduate in Sport Management from a reputed institute/ University


Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in working in sport – commercial or academic in relevant domain: consulting, sport marketing, sport event delivery, sport market research; with a proven track record of theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of Sport Management

• Previous knowledge of program assessment, curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation will be given preference.

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:

• Self-motivated team player

• Excellent oral, and written communication skills

• Excellent MS Office skills; demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word, and additionally comfortable with web-based tools

The candidate must have high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and absolute commitment to task completion.
