Sustainability Assistant

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fresh Environmental Assistant to join our team of climate and sustainability professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to begin a career in the fast-evolving fields of GHG accounting, ESG consulting, sustainability verification, and carbon markets.

As part of a dynamic team, you will work on projects related to environmental assessments, carbon footprint analysis, and sustainability reporting in compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection and analysis for GHG inventories (ISO 14064), carbon footprint studies (ISO 14067), and sustainability audits
• Support the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and verification documentation
• Conduct site visits, stakeholder interviews, and environmental assessments under supervision
• Learn and apply ISO standards related to environment and sustainability (e.g., ISO 14001, 14064, 50001)
• Participate in life cycle assessments (LCA) and ESG advisory projects
• Maintain project documentation, support client communication, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Stay updated with international regulations (EU CBAM, EPR, ESG frameworks) and Article 6 carbon market developments
