Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a STP Operator located in Delhi, India. The STP Operator will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the sewage treatment plant to ensure optimal performance. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, performing routine and preventive maintenance, managing the safe disposal and handling of sludge, and ensuring treated water meets environmental regulations. Additionally, the STP Operator will be required to record operational data and report any issues for timely resolution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sewage treatment plant operations and maintenance
• Experience in monitoring effluent quality and process optimization
• Skills in handling and managing sludge disposal
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards
• Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation
• Qualifications such as a diploma or degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field are advantageous
• Prior experience in water treatment or a similar industry is a plus
