As a STP Operator based in Delhi, India, this full-time on-site role demands responsibility for overseeing the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the sewage treatment plant to guarantee optimal functionality. Daily duties include equipment inspection, executing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, facilitating the safe disposal and management of sludge, and verifying that treated water complies with environmental regulations. The STP Operator is also expected to maintain operational records, promptly report any issues for resolution, and ensure seamless plant operations. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of sewage treatment plant operations and maintenance, along with experience in monitoring effluent quality and optimizing processes. Proficiency in managing sludge disposal, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as a solid grasp of environmental regulations and compliance standards are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and documentation purposes are crucial. Additionally, qualifications such as a diploma or degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous. Prior experience in water treatment or a related industry is considered a plus for this role.,
