• Inventory Management:Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Material Handling:Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Team Supervision:Lead and motivate store staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations, stock verification, and housekeeping.
• Compliance and Safety:Enforce safety protocols and industry regulations related to material storage and handling.
• Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of store transactions, including inventory levels, receipts, and dispatches, using ERP systems if applicable.
• Customer Service:Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to materials or store operations, providing excellent service and support.
• Vendor Coordination:Liaise with procurement, vendors, and transporters regarding material deliveries and discrepancies.
• Cycle Counts and Physical Verification:Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Store Operations:Oversee the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring materials are readily available and meet quality standards.
