Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced State Sales Manager to lead our B2B and B2C solar product sales across the assigned state. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing dealer/distributor networks, acquiring new clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction in both business and consumer markets. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve state-level targets for both B2B and B2C segments. · Identify and tap new market opportunities including government tenders, institutions, MSMEs, housing societies, and individual households. · Plan and execute promotional campaigns and solar awareness drives in collaboration with the marketing team. · Build and expand a reliable distributor/dealer network and maintain strong relationships with channel partners. · Ensure sales team performance and target achievement through regular monitoring and support. · Engage with key customers, EPC players, consultants, and influencers to close high-value deals. · Track sales metrics, market trends, and competitor activity, and prepare detailed MIS reports for management. · Ensure all activities comply with company policies and government regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: · 5-8 years of experience in solar product sales or renewable energy sales (minimum 2–3 years in a managerial role). · Strong knowledge of solar inverters, batteries, and solar accessories. · Experience in handling B2B (corporate, institutional and industrial) and B2C (residential) customers. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills. · Ability to travel extensively within the assigned state.
